India’s leading intercity mobility platform, zingbus, has announced the launch of Chyll, a new packaged travel offering designed to simplify offbeat and experiential travel across India.
The launch comes at a time when bookings to offbeat destinations on the zingbus platform have grown by over 90% year-on-year, reflecting increasing consumer interest in experiential leisure travel beyond mainstream tourist circuits.
Chyll Integrates Travel, Stays, and Local Experiences
Chyll combines intercity bus travel, last-mile connectivity, curated accommodations, local guides, and on-ground assistance into a single booking experience.
The platform is designed to address a common challenge faced by travellers visiting remote destinations, where arranging local transport, accommodation, and activities separately can often become complicated and fragmented.
With Chyll, travellers can now access:
- Intercity bus travel
- Last-mile local transport
- Handpicked stays
- Guided local experiences
- On-ground travel assistance
All services are integrated into one seamless checkout flow.
Rising Demand for Experiential and Offbeat Travel
The launch aligns with the growing popularity of destinations such as Jibhi and Shangarh, where travellers increasingly seek nature-driven and less crowded experiences.
The trend is also being supported by the Government of India’s continued investments in tourism infrastructure, regional connectivity, and intercity transportation under the Union Budget 2026–27.
Commenting on the launch, Prashant Kumar, Co-founder of zingbus, said:
“The bus ticket was never the full journey. For travellers heading to offbeat destinations, the real challenge begins after the booking. Chyll has been designed to simplify that entire journey through one integrated booking experience, from seamless last-mile connectivity to reliable stays and meaningful local experiences.”
Expansion Plans Across India
The new offering builds on zingbus’s existing last-mile connectivity service, Offbeat, which currently operates across more than 80 locations spanning six states and two union territories.
Chyll has initially launched in Jibhi and Shangarh, with plans to expand to additional destinations across North and South India in the coming months.
Unlike conventional ticketing platforms that focus solely on transportation, zingbus is positioning itself as a broader intercity travel ecosystem through an asset-light, franchise-led model that combines mobility, hospitality, and local experiences.
The platform also offers Rentals, enabling families and groups to book entire buses for leisure and community travel purposes.
zingbus Continues Nationwide Expansion
zingbus has facilitated over 10 million journeys across 300+ cities in more than 20 states through partnerships with over 60 operators.
The company also continues to expand its electric bus operations across key intercity travel corridors, supporting sustainable mobility initiatives.
With the launch of Chyll, zingbus aims to strengthen its presence in India’s growing experiential travel segment while creating a more connected and seamless intercity travel experience.
