With climate goals becoming stricter and the urgency to decarbonize transport growing stronger, the 9th edition of the Sustainable Mobility Fuels Summit (SMFS) is set to take place on 11–12 September 2025 at the Shangri-La Eros Hotel, New Delhi.
Organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, this two-day summit will act as a leading platform to spark meaningful conversations and drive the adoption of alternative fuels in India’s transport ecosystem.
India’s Energy Transition
India is uniquely positioned in the global energy transition. The nation’s automotive industry is witnessing a paradigm shift as it explores a wide range of cleaner, less energy-intensive fuel options. Significant investments are being made in CNG, LNG, CBG, ethanol-blended flex fuel, hydrogen, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Together, these efforts are steering the country toward a more comprehensive and sustainable mobility future.
Summit Theme and Focus
This year, the summit will revolve around the theme: “Driving Sustainable Mobility through Alternative Fuels.” It will bring together policymakers, fuel manufacturers, automotive leaders, fleet operators, technology providers, and sustainability experts.
Over two days, discussions will focus on scalable solutions and policies that can reshape India’s mobility landscape.
