According to a report from The Economic Times, Tesla, the US-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has reportedly struck a strategic deal with Tata Electronics to procure semiconductor chips for its global operations.

To promote closer cooperation between Taiwan-U.S. auto-electronics supply chain, technology, and regulations, SAE Taipei Section of Taiwan– the sole organization directly linking the vehicle domain with the U.S. –will soon lead a delegation to participate in the “2024 World Congress Experience (WCX)”, powered by SAE International.

“One of the key benefits of MIPI A-PHY technology is its optimization of the transmitter, which is small, inexpensive, and simple. This allows for direct integration of the connectivity inside the sensor – a benefit that no competing solution can provide,” said Eyran Lida, Chief Technology Officer at Valens Semiconductor.

Qualcomm Inc. inaugurated its design centre in Chennai, India, with the ceremony officiated by Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics, and IT, alongside Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm Inc. This centre is dedicated to developing wireless connectivity solutions, focusing on enhancing WiFi technologies and contributing significantly to Qualcomm’s global research and development efforts in 5G Cellular technology.
