Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) and TIER IV, a pioneer in open-source autonomous driving technology, have announced MC’s strategic investment in TIER IV through a third-party allotment of shares. Through this investment, the companies will cooperatively tackle efforts to transform mobility services in regional areas with autonomous driving technology.

Tata Motors Group has signed a facilitation MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu to explore setting up a vehicle manufacturing facility in the state. The MoU envisages an investment of ~INR 9,000 crores over 5 years and can potentially create up to 5,000 jobs (direct and indirect).
