Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri inaugurated a cashless ticketing system in Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) buses, starting in Shimla, Hamirpur, and Una districts. This system enables passengers to purchase tickets using credit cards, debit cards, or UPI, eliminating the need for exact change and reducing disputes with conductors. Cash payments remain an option for passengers. Additionally, Agnihotri announced a 4% dearness allowance for HRTC employees.
