MG Motor India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vertelo, an integrated fleet electrification platform managed by Macquarie and funded by the Green Climate Fund. This partnership entails the phased delivery of 3,000 MG electric vehicles to Vertelo.
Additionally, the collaboration aims to establish a comprehensive EV charging infrastructure across the country.

Sandeep Gambhir, Chief Executive Officer of Vertelo, stated, “This partnership with MG Motor India to purchase around 3,000 electric cars marks the beginning of a journey for both organizations with a common goal of accelerating fleet electrification and achieving Net-zero emissions.”
MG India has played a key role in developing a robust EV charging infrastructure in collaboration with ecosystem partners such as Exicom Telesystems, ElectreeFi, EchargerBays, Ionage, Statiq, Epsilon, and Highway Delite. They have deployed 7.4kW chargers at a rate of approximately one installation per day, covering about 50 major cities.
