Sikhar Fleet, a leading mobility solutions provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Moto Business Service India (MBSI), a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor, to develop a scalable and structured vehicle leasing ecosystem in India.
The collaboration combines Sikhar Fleet’s operational expertise with MBSI’s global capabilities in vehicle leasing, asset management, and financial services. The partnership aims to address key challenges in India’s vehicle leasing and shared mobility sector through technology-driven and transparent solutions.
The initiative focuses on transforming the driver leasing and shared mobility ecosystem by introducing globally benchmarked practices, stronger financial frameworks, and improved operational efficiency. The India-focused partnership is designed to support ride-hailing platforms, mobility aggregators, gig economy drivers, and institutional fleet operators.
According to the companies, the partnership will help create a more reliable and structured ecosystem for drivers and fleet operators by improving financial transparency, vehicle uptime, and operational support.
Commenting on the partnership, Dharampal Jadoun, Co-Founder at Sikhar Fleet, said:
“This partnership is focused on helping drivers earn more with clarity and stability. By offering vehicles on transparent leasing terms, low upfront cost, and fixed payment structures, drivers will know exactly what they earn and what they pay. Our aim is to improve driver take-home income by reducing hidden costs and ensuring better vehicle uptime and support. With this model, a driver can start earning quickly and grow with confidence, instead of dealing with uncertain and informal rental systems.”
Kobayashi Masaharu, CEO and Managing Director of MBSI, added:
“At MBSI, we believe that sustainability is the only path to a successful future for transportation. Our partnership with Sikhar Fleet and the deployment of Tata Express-T CNG vehicles marks a significant step in this journey. This initiative isn’t just about cleaner technology; it’s about improving the quality of life of people across India by providing easy access to mobility solutions and supporting meaningful employment opportunities in the communities we serve.”
The partnership reflects the growing focus on organized fleet leasing solutions in India’s mobility sector, where demand for transparent, scalable, and technology-enabled leasing models continues to rise.
