46-year-old Chandram Yegapagol, CEO and managing director of IAST Software Solutions, Bengaluru, along with his family of five, tragically lost in a road accident on the Nelmangala-Tumkuru highway. The incident occurred when a container truck lost control, toppling over and crashing onto their SUV. The family was traveling to Sangli, Maharashtra, in their new Volvo XC90 when the accident ensued around 11 AM on 22, December, Sunday near Tippagondanahalli.

Following the accident, Bengaluru District Police issued a traffic advisory warning of slow-moving traffic on the Bengaluru-Tumkur national highway.
