Yamaha, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced a new model to its popular R15 line. The newest trim level, known as the R15M, has carbon fire pattern decorations that make the motorcycle seem more dynamic than ever.
This year’s Bharat Mobility Expo marked the motorcycle’s formal debut. The business has now placed the model in the market at a starting price of Rs 1.98 lakh, with the top variant with a carbon fibre pattern costing Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of design, it follows the same style statement as the rest of the R15 fleet. However, the business has made several significant upgrades that make it better to a conventional model. It has been given a dual tone finish, with a wonderful combination of black and silver.
Side Profile
The sides have R15 badging with blue accents. Aside from that, the motorcycle retains the same fuel tank, LED headlamp arrangement, elegant turn indicators, and a decently sized clear visor. The bike has a split seating layout, as do other versions, with side reflectors for added visibility.
Engine & Power
The brand’s current product is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It has a maximum power output of 18.35 horsepower and 14.7 Nm of torque. The device is equipped with a six-speed gearbox. The set-up also has a fast shifter.
