Citing local industry statistics, Kia, a South Korean automobile brand, announced on Tuesday that it has placed number one among automotive companies operating in India in terms of total customer experience.
Second and third place went to Toyota and Tata Motors, with 45.83 and 44.35 percent, respectively.
In the most recent Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India (FADA) total customer experience index study, Kia claims to have placed top with a score of 45.84 percent, according to Yonhap news agency.
FADA is a reputable trade group in India with over 15,000 dealer members that collaborates with the local government and automakers to supply a variety of market data. More than 8,000 people responded to the poll, which was carried out for the first time this year and focused on sales, service, and product experiences.
According to a Kia representative, the survey’s findings demonstrate the company’s attempts to give every consumer a positive experience since the launch of its Indian subsidiary.
Comparing August’s domestic sales of 22,523 units to August’s 19,219 units sold in the prior year, Kia India’s YoY rise in August was 17.19 percent. Notification was sent to the company that 10,073 new Sonet units had been sold. Meanwhile, Kia’s successful market introduction of its new EV3 model helped the business achieve a new record for monthly sales of electric vehicles (EVs) per brand in August.
Auto industry tracker ‘CarIsYou’ reports that 6,398 Kia EVs were produced last month and were just registered. This amount is a 250 percent increase from the same period last year and a 58.7 percent increase from the preceding month.
