By collaborating with leading businesses in the field, the corporation demonstrated its dedication to developing EV technology and encouraging the increased use of electric vehicles. The occasion demonstrated JSW MG Motor’s commitment to constructing a robust EV infrastructure for a smooth ownership experience.
One of the major projects announced during the event was eHUB by MG, a broad and distinctive charging platform that is the first of its type by an OEM in the industry. In addition, the business introduced EVPEDIA, India’s first educational platform specifically for EV users, and Project REVIVE, which aims to give EV batteries a second life beyond automobiles. The MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP), which will be a standard feature in all future MG vehicles, was displayed as well by JSW MG Motor.
To make EV charging easier for everyone in the country, MG created eHUB. This project seeks to improve charging convenience by giving users a single platform to search for, reserve, and pay for charging stations. The goal of Project REVIVE, a partnership including TERI, Lohum, and BatX, is to recycle used EV batteries into sustainable energy storage options for use in local applications. This initiative encourages resource reuse and recycling, which is consistent with the ideas of a circular economy.
With regard to EV technology, advantages, expenses, and upkeep, EVPEDIA is a cutting-edge educational platform that provides precise and interesting information. By dispelling myths and offering trustworthy information, EVPEDIA supports the wider adoption of EVs by assisting customers in making educated decisions. The MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP) equips MG automobiles with an array of novel capabilities. This features the MG App Store, which provides cutting-edge speech capabilities in six Indian languages along with in-car entertainment, gaming, and educational opportunities. This platform also has an innovative Home-to-Car feature.
JSW MG Motor India’s Chief Growth Officer, Gaurav Gupta, highlighted the company’s goal of revolutionising electric mobility in the country. According to him, DriEV.Bharat is a symbol of their unwavering dedication to developing EV technology and enhancing customer satisfaction, both of which would hasten the nation’s adoption of EVs. Previously, JSW MG Motor has made a major impact on India’s EV scene by introducing the MG ZS EV, the nation’s first internet-connected electric SUV, and the MG Comet EV, an avant-garde urban mobility option. The firm intends to build 1,000 community chargers around the country, provides a variety of charging options, and is dedicated to developing an extensive electric vehicle ecosystem.
To promote EV education and skill development, JSW MG Motor has also partnered with startups and academic institutions through programs like MGDP and MG Nurture.
