Norton Motorcycles, under TVS Motor Company’s ownership, is gearing up for global expansion with a significant investment of £200 million. This investment will fund new product development, state-of-the-art facilities, and research, marking a new phase for Norton. The company plans to introduce six new models over the next three years, with a focus on the USA, Germany, France, Italy, and India. Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, emphasized the exciting future for Norton, supported by TVS’s global capabilities. The leadership team has expanded, including Richard Arnold, former CEO of Manchester United, and Dr. Robert Hentschel as CEO. This strong team is set to drive Norton’s revitalized R&D at their new Solihull facility in the UK. Dr. Hentschel highlighted the company’s focus on design, drivability, and quality. This year also sees Norton completing the delivery of orders for previous customers, following a £2.3 million investment in the Commando and V4 platforms, thus closing a significant chapter and focusing on the brand’s future
