JSW MG Motor India has consolidated its position in the volume-driven C-segment SUV segment with the 2025 MG Astor, now priced at ₹11.3 lakh. As a “Blockbuster SUV,” the Astor gets a mix of design, luxurious interiors, and cutting-edge features, making it an attractive option for those looking for the luxury feel without the hefty price tag.
One of the largest talking points is that MG Astor is the first 4.3m SUV in India to provide a 10.2-inch infotainment display and a panoramic sunroof below ₹12.5 lakh, setting a new value proposition benchmark for this segment. While the 10-inch screen is available in all variants, the panoramic sunroof can be found starting from the Shine trim, which went on sale earlier this year.
Adding to its value proposition, MG also includes a wireless charging pad with the Sharp Pro trim—becoming the sole 4.3m SUV with a 1.5L automatic engine to offer it below ₹15 lakh. Another segment-first is the addition of heated ORVMs and generous soft-touch materials inside the cabin, which provides the Astor with a near-luxury ambiance that competitors cannot match.
MG Astor is offered in five trims – Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. It is equipped with more than 50 safety features, 14 Level-2 ADAS features, ventilated seats, advanced voice recognition, 80+ connected technologies, digital key, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, and so on. Power is derived from a 1.5L VTi-TECH mill that is mated to the ease of a CVT transmission.
By merging aspirational elements with affordability, the MG Astor continues to set new standards in the segment and offers unparalleled value for Indian SUV customers.
