Hesai Technology announced an ADAS lidar design win with Neta Auto’s new series production vehicle. Hesai will supply ultra-high resolution long-range lidar AT128 for Neta Auto’s upcoming vehicle model which is expected to launch in the first half of 2025.

Ford became the first automaker to receive approval in Spain to introduce hands-free highway driving, the company is expanding the availability of Ford BlueCruise to more customers in Europe. This marks the third European country to authorize the usage of BlueCruise in addition to Great Britain and Germany.

The new safety initiative announced by Hyundai is based on a 3-pillar strategy – ADAS; key safety features like ESC, VSM and Hill-start assist; and standardization of vital safety features across all models and variants. The company claims that these features have been “extremely effective in preventing accidents.” Hyundai already offers ADAS in five models, and it expects 60 percent of its portfolio to have ADAS by 2024.

Hesai Technology, a provider of automotive lidar, announced a partnership with Webasto, the global automotive supplier of roof systems. Hesai will provide automotive lidar sensors to Webasto for its Roof Sensor Module for passenger cars with ADAS.

The collaboration focuses on the production-quality implementation of STRADVISION’s perception technology, SVNet, on Horizon’s Journey™ series computing solutions, aiming to provide high-quality driving assistance solutions for the Tier 1s and OEMs.
