Statiq has launched a new charging facility at Express Avenue Mall in Chennai, marking a significant milestone in its expansion journey. The facility features two 60kW dual-gun chargers and three 3-in-1 chargers, catering to a variety of electric vehicle models.
Express Avenue Mall, one of Chennai’s most popular shopping destinations, sees an average of 35,000 visitors daily. Strategically placing EV chargers at the mall enhances accessibility for EV users, allowing them to charge their vehicles while shopping or dining.
Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder of Statiq, remarked, “Our collaboration with Express Avenue Mall aligns with our vision of making EV charging more accessible in everyday locations. By expanding our network to high-footfall areas, we aim to promote the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and provide a smooth, hassle-free charging experience.”
Statiq continues to expand its footprint in South India, improving EV accessibility in major cities and along highways. With plans to install 20,000 chargers nationwide by the end of 2025, Statiq is focusing on tier-2 cities, highways, and key tourist locations, contributing to India’s ambitious transition towards electric mobility.
