Noida International Airport (NIA) has teamed up with Statiq to establish a comprehensive EV charging infrastructure at the airside, aligning with the airport’s sustainability goals and efforts to reduce emissions. Statiq will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the charging network, which will be accessible to all concessionaires and airport vehicles.
The network will feature a combination of 7.4 kW AC chargers for smaller EVs and powerful 120 kW and 240 kW rapid chargers for high-demand vehicles. This infrastructure will support the deployment of electric ground support equipment (GSE) and other EVs across the airport premises.
In its initial phase, the partnership will make a significant contribution to NIA’s sustainability commitment, helping the airport achieve its green initiatives and lower its carbon footprint.
