Kia India has introduced the refreshed EV6 to the Indian market, starting at INR 65.9 lakh. Available in five striking exterior colors—Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red, and Yacht Blue Matte—the updated EV6 enhances safety, performance, design, and connected technology. With this launch, Kia continues to cement its position as a leader in India’s electric mobility transformation.
The new EV6, offered in a single GT Line AWD variant, comes equipped with a next-generation 84-kWh battery, providing an impressive range of 663 km (ARAI MIDC Full)—a major leap from its predecessor. Boasting 325 PS of power and 605 Nm of torque, it delivers superior performance along with ultra-fast charging, reaching 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW charger.
On the design front, the EV6 showcases a bold and sportier appearance, following Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. Featuring Star Map Graphic DRLs, sequential indicators, a GT Line bumper, and 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, the exterior exudes futuristic appeal. The rear star-map LED lighting further adds to its dynamic look.
Inside, the EV6 epitomizes premium craftsmanship and advanced digital integration. Highlights include a dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved display, a sleek double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection, and plush Ultrafabrics upholstery. The upgraded Kia Connect 2.0 suite offers over 100 connected features, including remote diagnostics via Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD) and over-the-air (OTA) updates for 34 ECU controllers.
The standout feature is the Digital Key 2.0, equipped with Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. This allows users to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle via a compatible smartphone, even without physically taking the phone out of their pocket. The digital key can also be securely shared through text messages, offering unparalleled convenience.
When it comes to safety, the EV6 is fitted with the advanced ADAS 2.0, delivering 27 cutting-edge safety and driver-assistance features. This includes new capabilities like Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA) 2.0 – Junction Turning and Crossing, Lane Change Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, and Lane Follow Assist (LFA) 2.0, ensuring enhanced safety and confidence on India’s busy roads.
